Worker is active — running overnight

Your quota resets
at 3am. So do your bugs.

maxAIquota queues Claude Code and Codex CLI tasks per project and runs them unattended while you sleep — burning your 5-hour quota window on bug fixes and security reviews instead of nothing at all.

Why it exists

Idle compute is a wasted quota window

Claude Code and Codex plans reset every 5 hours. If you're asleep when it resets, that window burns for nothing. maxAIquota makes sure it doesn't.

Per-project task queue

Add projects, queue prompts with priority, and let the worker run them in order — no babysitting, no terminal tab left open.

Start / stop / hard-end window

Set a start time right after your quota resets, a soft stop, and a hard cut-off. Windows wrap overnight — 22:00 → 02:00 just works.

Quota-aware pausing

Detects a rate-limit response, requeues the task, and pauses the worker until the parsed reset time — then picks up exactly where it left off.

Runs the tasks you'd skip

Bug fixes, security reviews, dependency bumps, flaky-test triage — the unglamorous backlog is exactly what an overnight queue is good at.

Keeps your machine awake

Optional sleep-prevention on Windows and macOS while the worker is active or quota-paused — the display can still turn off.

Your machine, your data

Everything runs locally against SQLite. No prompts or code leave your machine — the app just orchestrates the CLI you already trust.

How it works

Set the window once. Forget about it.

Four steps between "I have a backlog" and "it got done overnight."

1

Add a project

Point maxAIquota at a folder on disk. It becomes a queue — enable it, disable it, or reorder it against your other projects.

2

Queue tasks with a prompt

"Fix the auth race condition." "Run a security review on the payments endpoint." Pick claude, codex, or a custom command — set priority and go.

3

Set your window and activate

Start right after your quota resets (e.g. 22:00), stop before you wake up. Hit the big button. maxAIquota waits for the window, then runs.

4

Wake up to a shorter backlog

Completed tasks, failed tasks with logs, and anything still queued — all visible on the dashboard when you sit back down.

The 5-hour problem

You have a quota window. You were asleep for it.

Claude Code and Codex CLI plans reset on a rolling 5-hour clock. maxAIquota turns your sleep schedule into a second shift.

22:00Quota resets. Worker wakes up and starts the queue.
22:47First task completes — a security review of the payments endpoint.
01:12Rate limit hit mid-task. Task requeued, worker pauses itself.
03:00Quota resets again — worker resumes automatically, no input needed.
06:30Hard end-time. Anything running is stopped and requeued cleanly.
07:15You wake up. 6 tasks done, 1 waiting, nothing lost.

Two clocks, one worker

maxAIquota tracks your schedule (start / stop / hard end) and the provider's quota (detected straight from rate-limit output) at the same time — whichever runs out first pauses the queue, and it always resumes on its own.

No manual restart at 3am. No task half-finished because you forgot to check back. Just a queue that respects both clocks and keeps moving between them.
